1 year post-op! + new dick pics

Today is my 1 year post-op anniversary! It's exciting to think that all of the pain, money, and recovery time were worth it to get the awesome cock I have today. I don't have too many updates related to recovery, because all of the active healing was finished by about the 6 month post-op mark.

Lately, I've just been enjoying getting to use my "new toy" - which is totally how I think of my cock. I've been to a few gay bathhouses, fucked around with some guys, and continued to have great sex with my wife (we're poly and in an open relationship). It's especially affirming and ego-boosting when gay guys say that my penis is sexy. I love those compliments! It's been great to walk around naked in the locker room at the gym without worrying what others will think. If anything, folks probably just think I have a tiny dick, and I'm OK with that because it's the truth!

My wife, S., is going to write a guest blog for me soon about her perspective on my lower surgery. She plans to write about what it was like to go through this step in my journey with me, taking care of me post-op, and what sex is like for us now. If you have any specific questions or curiosities from a partner's perspective, please post them in the comments section, and I'll ask her to address them in her post!

Here are a few current pictures to show you what a fully healed simple meta looks like! Enjoy.

  1. Thank you for the 1 year update and for maintaining this blog. I'm currently considering Dr. Bowers for a meta and have a quick question. Do you mind sharing your height/weight/bmi (totally respect if you don't want to post these). I've had phone consults with a couple of surgeons and they all asked about my weight/bmi etc, and if I'm interested in any additional liposuction at the time of surgery. I'm not sure if I'd need lipo at all but am considering it if it would make things look better/more prominent. Anyway, based on your photos, my guess is I'm pretty height/weight proportionate with you, so I thought I'd check. Did you get any extra lipo done/mons resectioning? I read through to the beginning of your blog and didn't see any references to either, but I could have missed it.
Thank you again for posting everything you have.
    Cheers,
    tj

    1. Hi there! Great question. Somebody asked about my BMI in an earlier post as well. I'm 5'6" and weigh 150 pounds, so I guess that makes my BMI 24.2. I never considered a mons resection or any kind of lipo, mostly because I don't think Dr. Bowers offers this and I didn't feel it was necessary. Hope that helps!

  4. I just want to say that your goal of educating and documenting your entire journey has been utterly successful. Your surgery looks like it was entirely successful and I'm so grateful for all the progress pictures you have posted.
I have never felt quite male or female, mostly somewhere in between with days closer to either side. But no matter how I feel gender-wise I have always felt like something was missing between my legs. I did so much research and the only information I would ever find was for phalloplasty, which scares the bejeebees out of me, especially since it would mean getting rid of the lower lady parts I have. I thought I would never be able to match my outside to my insides...
Cue your blog's grandiose entrance into my life. I look at your photos and all I can think is 'that is how I'm supposed to look'. Thank you for that. For giving me a physical image to put together with my feelings. I can't thank you enough for that.
I think I'll head towards meta surgery in the future, now my only concern is will surgery be possible if the only T I use is topical cream on my genitals? To the inter webs for answers!
    Again, I can't thank you enough :)

    1. I'm also curious about this, as I'm fluid/androgynous and definitely don't want some of the effects of T >_>

  5. Thank you so much for sharing all of your process!
At the beginning of finding the possibilities of medical transition 7 years ago, I've never considered getting bottom surgery, because I enjoy to be a "bonus hole" boy, BUT... after seeing your blog, this is the ONLY bottom surgery procedure I consider EVER!
I'm a 27, Brazilian nonbinary/queer guy, who, as I stated before, enjoy to be a bonus hole boy and being penetrated. I started to taking testosterone almost 4 months ago, and I know that the "ideal" period for any meta procedure is to wait at least 3 years. Now I'm considering to start to saving some money to travel to the US someday, after I get my top surgery (that insurance wouldn't cover... but probably my hysto it will...), and also get a simple meta with Dr. Bowers.
But I have some questions to ask:
    1) While my dick just started to grow, I've already noticed that is quite pleasurable to rub it against a cis-dick/dildo at the same time I'm being penetrated, because the things are... "attached". So I wonder if it's still possible/easy to do something similar after the surgery?
    2) Is everything normal with you to go to the bathroom and pee after this procedure? I know you didn't get uretral lengthening because it isn't possible when you get a simple meta, plus, I would be personally scared to to this kind of procedure with myself.
    3) Have you ever tried to use a STP after your simple meta?

Thank you for answering my questions, I reeeaaaaaally admire you for being brave and sharing your journey with the world!

  8. Hey!! Any chance you can post another update? Just to let us know if you're still satisfied? Any bottom dysphoria related feels? And maybe more recent pictures? A standing side view and a sitting unspread view would be helpful! Thanks for this blog!!
